Auction Terms

Last updated: March 2026

1. Binding bids

Every bid placed through the platform is binding. If you win, you agree to complete the transaction according to the auction terms, listing terms, and invoice requirements.

2. Bid increments and extensions

Auctions may use: minimum bid increments, countdown timers, anti-sniping extensions, reserve logic or seller-defined closing rules where permitted. Specific auction mechanics may vary and will be reflected on the auction page.

3. Winning and invoices

When an auction closes, the highest valid bid that meets applicable rules may be deemed the winner. Buyers may receive an invoice or payment request after closing. Winning does not remove the buyer’s obligation to review invoice timing, fees, shipping, pickup, and other stated conditions.

4. Payment deadlines

Payment deadlines may vary by auction. Failure to pay on time may result in: cancellation, account restrictions, trust score reduction, relisting of the item, retention of deposits or application of penalties where permitted.

5. Seller reserves and listing controls

Where allowed, sellers may use reserve pricing or category-specific conditions. Sellers remain responsible for accurate listings and lawful authority to sell.

6. Item condition

Items may be new, used, open-box, salvage, damaged, or sold as-is. Buyers are responsible for reviewing descriptions, photos, disclosures, and pickup/shipping terms before bidding.

7. Pickup and shipping

Auction-specific pickup and shipping rules form part of the transaction terms.

8. Disputes

Claims must follow the Bidding Fever dispute process. Bidding Fever does not guarantee any outcome.

9. Category-specific rules

Some categories, including high-value items, vehicles, equipment, or real-estate-like assets, may include additional requirements such as: bidder qualification, deposits, inspection periods, document checks, release conditions.

10. Platform authority

Bidding Fever may correct obvious errors, suspend auctions, cancel fraudulent activity, or adjust account access to protect marketplace integrity.
