How it works
From listing to pickup in five steps. No surprises at invoice.
Every number below is the real rule that applies to every auction on Bidding Fever. Auction houses may add stricter terms; they are shown on the auction page.
- 1
Inspected before it is listed
An inspector handles every lot, powers it on where possible, and grades it A–D against a published scale.
- 2
Register once, card before first bid
Email, password, one consent. Your card is held for verification only before your first bid — nothing is charged until you win.
- 3
Bid with the total in front of you
Your max bid, the 15% buyer’s premium and HST are shown together, recalculating as you type.
- 4
Soft close — you only lose to a higher bid
A bid in the last 2 minutes extends the lot by 2 minutes. Nobody wins by being faster; only by paying more.
- 5
Pay within 48 hours, collect by the deadline
Invoice at close. Pay by card. Pickup pass by email. Lots not collected by the removal deadline are forfeited and resold.
