1. Platform role
Bidding Fever:
- Facilitates auctions and transactions
- Provides payment processing infrastructure
- Offers a structured dispute resolution process
Bidding Fever does not guarantee the condition, accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party listings.
2. Eligibility and accounts
To use the platform, you must provide accurate information and maintain account security. We may require verification at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for:
- Fraud risk
- Policy violations
- Unpaid balances
- Abusive conduct
- Misuse of bidding or claims systems
3. Bidding is binding
By placing a bid, you make a binding commitment to complete the transaction if you win. Failure to complete payment or fulfillment obligations may result in:
- Loss of bidding privileges
- Trust score reduction
- Account restrictions
- Financial penalties where permitted
If you win a lot, the seller of that lot receives your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address so they can invoice you, arrange delivery or pickup, and meet their tax and record-keeping obligations. Sellers receive these details only for lots you have won and only after the auction closes; they never see the contact details of bidders who did not win.
4. Verification and trust controls
Bidding Fever may use verification, trust scoring, deposits, pre-authorizations, and bidding limits to manage marketplace risk.
5. Payments
All payments must be made using approved payment methods through Bidding Fever or its payment providers. Depending on the auction or category, we may require:
- Immediate payment
- Payment method authorization
- Deposit or pre-authorization
- Balance payment within a stated deadline
6. Fees
Buyers may be charged:
- Hammer price
- Buyer’s premium
- Taxes
- Shipping, pickup, or handling fees where applicable
All displayed amounts are subject to the terms shown in the listing, checkout flow, invoice, or auction rules.
7. Final sale and listing conditions
Most items are sold on a final-sale basis unless stated otherwise. Claims may still be reviewed in cases such as fraud, non-delivery, or significant misrepresentation.
8. Disputes
Bidding Fever provides a fair, structured, and transparent claims process. We do not guarantee dispute outcomes. We may review and enforce outcomes where possible, but we cannot guarantee recovery in all cases, especially after funds have already been released or moved outside platform control.
9. Seller responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for:
- Accurate descriptions
- Material condition disclosure
- Lawful ownership or authority to sell
- Delivery, pickup, or release according to listing terms
10. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for:
- Reviewing listings carefully
- Understanding shipping and pickup rules
- Paying on time
- Acting in good faith
11. High-value transactions
Some categories or transactions may require additional rules, including:
- Identity verification
- Deposit or pre-authorization
- Inspection or confirmation periods
- Category-specific release conditions
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidding Fever is not liable for third-party seller conduct, listing inaccuracies, transaction disputes, or losses beyond platform control.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
